The Imbibis Artists Retreat

Imbibis Artist Retreat Weekend
Step away from the noise of everyday life and give yourself the gift of uninterrupted creative time.
The Imbibis Artist Retreat Weekend is a three-day, self-guided creative escape designed for artists, makers, and curious creatives who crave space, calm, and focus. Held at our Bundamba distillery, this retreat invites you to slow down, settle in, and immerse yourself in your work — without distractions.
Bring along the creative project you’ve been longing to spend time with. Whether it’s watercolour painting, sketching, oil painting, colouring, journalling, or even a favourite jigsaw puzzle, this retreat is about giving yourself permission to create at your own pace. The emphasis is on quiet, considered work, so messy or highly disruptive mediums such as resin pouring, pottery, or paint throwing are not permitted.
Unlike a single-day workshop, this is a true three-day retreat. You’re welcome to leave unfinished work safely overnight and return to it the next day, allowing ideas to evolve naturally and creativity to unfold without pressure. Come for one day, or settle in across all three — the time is yours.
The distillery provides a calm, welcoming environment with plenty of room to spread out, think, and breathe. Enjoy the gentle hum of creativity around you, the warmth of shared space, and the freedom to work independently while still feeling connected. For those who wish, there’s the option to enjoy a soft drink, or a thoughtfully crafted Imbibis gin while you create.
This retreat is perfect for:
-
Artists needing uninterrupted studio time
-
Creatives feeling blocked or overwhelmed
-
Anyone craving a peaceful, inspiring environment
-
Those who want to reconnect with creativity simply for the joy of it
No instruction. No pressure. No expectations.

Come and claim a weekend where your creativity comes first.
