Getting into the Christmas Spirit

Australians clearly have a thirst for gin, and as the festive season approaches, more and more people are turning to gin to get into the Christmas spirit see what we did there?

Not only does it make a delicious cocktail, but a bottle of artisan gin, or a tasting pack, is quickly becoming the “must have gift” on Christmas lists around the country. With hundreds of boutique brands and flavours available, it’s easy to be overwhelmed, especially if you’re a non gin drinker we prefer to believe that everyone loves gin, incidentally, looking to select a tipple or two for someone special.

Australian gins that use only premium local ingredients are certainly on-trend, and rightly so, with incredible complexities in flavour available from batch to batch. At Imbibis, we use only premium Australian ingredients in our small, bespoke gin batches, including bottle brush, lemon myrtle, native pepper berry and anise myrtle. Our brandy is produced using only the finest local grapes. Many of our ingredients, including lemon myrtle, galangal, turmeric, Davidson plum, bottle brush, lilly pilly and citrus, orange, grapefruit, lemonade, even come from our very own backyard.
