Davidson’s plums are a native plum that grows along the east coast of Australia from northern NSW to far north Queensland. There are several species and ours is local to southeast Queensland. The fruit is reminiscent of a traditional plum, but the flesh is red and very sour. It is said to have healing properties and full of antioxidants. It is because of this sour character that we have decided to honour and respect the fruit and make it into a liqueur.
Our Davidson’s plum liqueur is made using our own recipe and our own home-grown Ooray plums.
This product is the real deal, not overly sweet and packs a punch with flavour and tartness. It sits at 30% ABV.
Perfect on its own or made into a long drink with soda or sparkling mineral water.
