After two and a half years of patience, anticipation and careful maturation, Imbibis Craft Distillery proudly presents Ipswich’s very first Single Malt Whisky.
Distilled and matured at our Bundamba distillery, this inaugural release has spent 2.5 years developing its character in a new French oak cask, creating a whisky that is both bold and remarkably smooth. Bottled at 48% ABV, it delivers a rich and complex flavour profile worthy of the occasion.
On the nose, inviting notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak lead the way. The palate reveals layers of malt sweetness, warming spice and rich oak influence, while the finish lingers with a smooth, satisfying depth that encourages the next sip.
With just 218 individually numbered bottles available, this limited release marks a milestone not only for Imbibis Craft Distillery but for the City of Ipswich itself. Once these bottles are gone, this historic first release can never be recreated.
